Anti Wrinkle Injections

Anti Wrinkle Injections are botulinum toxin type A which is a treatment used to temporarily reduce the appearance of dynamic lines and wrinkles caused by repeated muscle movement.

It works by reducing the nerve signals that cause targeted muscles to contract. This relaxes the treated muscles, softening the appearance of expression lines while maintaining a natural-looking result when appropriately dosed.

Common treatment areas include:

Frown lines between the eyebrows

Forehead lines

Crow’s feet around the eyes

Other lower face areas where muscle activity contributes to lines, depending on practitioner assessment

Price - From £180

FAQ's

Important:

Botulinum Toxin is a prescription-only medicine in the UK and should be administered by a qualified aesthetics professional following an individual assessment & a prescription issued by our healthcare prescriber.

Will I still be able to make facial expressions?

The aim is not to remove facial expression. Treatment is individually tailored according to your facial anatomy, muscle movement and desired outcome, with the intention of maintaining a natural appearance.

When will I see the results?

You may begin to notice changes within a few days. The result continues to develop and is generally assessed around two weeks after treatment.

How long does Botulinum Toxin last?

The effects are temporary. Many clients find results last around 3–4 months, although this varies depending on the individual, treatment area, muscle activity & what other treatments & skincare you are using inbetween sessions.

Does Botulinum Toxin hurt?

Treatment involves a series of very small injections. Most people describe the sensation as a brief pinch. Treatment is usually quick, with minimal disruption to your day.

When will I need a review?

A review may be recommended around two weeks after treatment to assess the result and determine whether any adjustment is clinically appropriate.

Can Botulinum Toxin prevent wrinkles?

By reducing repeated muscle movement, Botulinum Toxin can reduce the formation or deepening of some dynamic lines. It does not stop the natural ageing process or replace good skincare and sun protection.

Is Botulinum Toxin the same as dermal filler?

No. They work in different ways. Botulinum toxin reduces muscle activity, whereas dermal fillers are injectable products used to restore volume, contour or support in selected areas.
