Mezotix®

Mezotix® is an advanced fractional skin-rejuvenation treatment designed to improve the appearance of ageing, uneven, pigmentation and compromised skin.

Unlike laser or radiofrequency, Mezotix uses controlled, natural heat delivered through a sterile titanium tip. This creates a precise thermal effect within the skin, stimulating epidermal renewal and the skin's natural collagen-remodelling process.

It can be used to target multiple concerns including fine lines, skin laxity, uneven texture, enlarged pores, pigmentation, acne and the appearance of acne scarring. It can also be used on areas such as the face, eyelids, neck, décolleté and hands. Its also successful at treating other areas of crapey skin like stomachs & arms.

Why Mezotix?

Mezotix is particularly suited to clients who want a more intensive skin treatment without choosing an injectable treatment.

The treatment is fractional and non-ablative, with the aim of stimulating the skin while keeping treatment time and downtime relatively low. The treatment is low-pain and radiation-free.

Mezotix isn't about chasing a quick fix. It's about creating healthier-looking, stronger, more refined skin through a planned approach to skin remodelling.

FAQ's

What is Mezotix®?

Mezotix® is an advanced fractional skin-rejuvenation treatment that uses controlled natural heat delivered through a sterile titanium tip. The thermal effect stimulates epidermal renewal and collagen regeneration within the dermis, helping to improve overall skin quality.

How does Mezotix® work?

The titanium tip makes very brief contact with the skin, transferring heat into the treatment area. This controlled thermal effect stimulates renewal of epidermal cells and collagen regeneration in the dermis.

Is Mezotix® a laser?

No. Mezotix® does not use laser energy or radiofrequency. It uses controlled natural heat delivered through its titanium tip and does not emit radiation.

Is Mezotix® painful?

Mezotix® is designed to be a comfortable treatment & it has low-pain technology in comparison to other remodelling treatments. Most clients experience a sensation of heat during treatment rather than significant pain.

Is there any downtime?

One of the advantages of Mezotix® is its relatively short recovery period. You can expect some redness, warmth and sensitivity following treatment, with the exact response depending on the treatment intensity and area treated. The healing is fast with short downtime especially after the first sessions.

When will I see results?

You may notice an improvement in skin quality as the skin begins to recover, but collagen remodelling is a gradual process. Results develop progressively rather than appearing immediately. But the surface layer of the skin looks much clearer the week post treatment.

How many Mezotix® treatments will I need?

This depends on your skin, the concern being treated and your desired outcome. A course may be recommended rather than a single treatment, with treatment intervals determined as part of your personalised plan. As a generally skin rejuvenation treatment most clients have 3-4 sessions then maintenence sessions will be scheduled.

Can Mezotix® be used around the eyes?

Yes. Mezotix® is designed to treat delicate areas including the periorbital region and upper and lower eyelids.

Can Mezotix® be combined with other treatments?

Yes, depending on your individual skin and treatment plan. Mezotix® can be incorporated into a broader skin programme, where appropriate, alongside carefully selected professional treatments and homecare. To maximise results some clients opt to apply skin boosters such as NCTF through the 'open drug channel delivery' of the machine. This allows the active ingredients to be delivered to the correct depth of the skin without the use of needles.

Can Mezotix help with dry eyes?

Mezotix can be used to treat the delicate skin around the eyes, including the upper and lower eyelids and peri-orbital area. The controlled thermal action works at the skin and eyelid area to encourage tissue renewal and collagen regeneration. Thermal peri-orbital treatments have also been investigated for dry-eye symptoms, particularly where eyelid and meibomian gland function may contribute to tear-film instability, with studies showing significant improvement in dry eyes within a number of case studies.
